Leon Ades began his journey in 2015 at the Center for Fine Woodworking in New Zealand, where he discovered in woodworking a way to materialize ideas and explore the dialogue between hand, material, and form. Back in Brazil, he graduated in Product Design from IED-SP, consolidating his own language that combines traditional woodworking techniques with a contemporary perspective on design.
Since then, he has developed original work as a designer and carpenter, creating furniture designed and executed entirely in his workshop. In his pieces, he seeks a balance between the geometric and the organic – between the precision of the line and the fluidity of the gesture.
His work has been featured in exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, reaffirming a trajectory guided by experimentation, technical rigor, and an appreciation for the time involved in making. Today, Leon maintains his own product line and also carries out custom projects, creating unique pieces that reflect the needs and atmosphere of each environment.
